William Mark Millner is here!

Well, as you can tell I am not a blogger.  I failed miserably at this but want to give it another go.  I figured I will go back and give a synopsis of each month since Willam was born.  He was born March 7, 2012.  He weighed 9lbs 2 oz and was 21 1/2 inches long.  He was born via C Section.  We were in the hospital for 3 days with no major complications.  We both came home on March 10th.  He was a happy and a healthy baby.

Nothing too major to talk about for the Month of March.  He rolled over from his belly to his back 2 times on March 14th.  I did not know a baby could do that so early, but I guess he was showing his stuff.

William had his first holiday, St Patricks Day, on March 17th, 2012.  He had a cute outfit to go with it.
Also in March, we were blessed with a visit from my mother in law, Mary Jane White.  She brought William some cute clothes.  She stayed for 9 days and was a HUGE help to all of us.  Thanks Grandma!!!

On March 19th William received his first bath.  He was pretty mellow and didn't seem to mind it at all!  Such a sweet baby!
At the very end of March we moved!!  We moved from High Falls, GA to Forsyth GA.  The new house is very big and William was able to get his very own room!  We loved the house for the space and the fact that it was an old house.

Wow, I sure am growing!

Well, I really feel like my belly is growing lately.  Baby William is definitely growing as well.  Last Friday morning, Mark was able to feel the baby moving!  It was a very touching moment.  I hope it was for Mark as well.  We have started to buy some clothes here and there.  I am getting into the whole boy thing more and more each day!  I can't wait to meet this wonderful baby boy of ours.  I hope things stay calm for the rest of this pregnancy.  I have had enough excitement and stress for more than one person.  I just want a healthy baby!

It's a .........

Well, things have gone well since my last post.  I am almost fully recovered from the surgery and the baby has weathered it all very well.  I should be going back to work on Friday.  On Halloween, we found out we are having a baby boy!!!  We are in shock, just because we were so sure it was a girl, but none the less, we are excited.  The name we have picked out is William Mark Millner.  William is after my grandfather and Mark, obviously, is after his daddy.  I am so thankful for my friends and family that kept us in their thoughts and prayers.  Everything has worked out and I will hopefully be healthier and have an uneventful pregnancy for the rest of my time.

14 weeks of the good, the bad and the scary!

Well, it has been a while.  I knew I wouldn't be good at this blogging thing, but things are definitely getting exciting and worth talking about so hopefully I can do better.  I am 19 weeks 5 days pregnant now.  I have definitely had my ups and downs.  The pregnancy itself is going great.  Baby seems to be growing and I have been feeling movements for a couple of weeks now.  The scary thing that just happened is at 19wks 3 days I had to have emergency surgery to remove my gallbladder.  I went to the emergency room on Saturday Oct 10/22 with severe pain in my upper abdomen.  I had been experiencing what I thought was gas pain for over a week, but I ended up having acute pancreatitis due to a gallstone getting lodged in my bile duct.  They did surgery the next day once the size of my enlarged pancreas went down.  I was scared to have the surgery, but I was not able to keep my emotions in check because of how scared I was for the baby.  My wonderful husband was there for me every step of the way as were Kody and Kaylee in sending their love.  Monday, I should have been discharged, but I was having trouble breathing and they thought I had a pulmonary embolism, blood clot.  THAT was very scary.  After many tests and seeing many doctors, that was ruled out.  I was discharged Tuesday afternoon.  It is Wednesday now and I am home alone and doing pretty good.  The pain is was much worse this morning, but once I got up and moved around a little, I am feeling much better with no pain meds.  I am thankful to my Heavenly Father and my family for being there for me in thoughts and prayers.  I am thankful the baby made it through this ordeal and appears to be doing just fine.  I am on the road to recovery and looking forward to our Anatomy Scan and hopefully gender determination ultrasound on Monday Oct 31st.

Will I EVER feel like doing anything!

Well, I never thought I would say this, but I really wish I had the energy to do something....like housework!!!  Yes, I know, it's not like me to WANT to do housework, but at somepoint, even I get tired of looking at the clutter.  I hate being so tired and unmotivated as I feel right now.  I need to clean my room today.  It is a mess from Mark moving furniture around in our house.  Hopefully I will get motivated today!!!

Things moving along nicely!

Well, I am 5 wks and 2 days today.  Things have gone so far without a hitch.  I have had pretty much every pregnancy symptom known to man!  The worst is probably the being tired all the time.  I hate the weekend cause all I want to do is sleep when there are things that need to be done like laudry, housekeeping, etc.  The kids help out a lot during the week so I can't complain.  I told my mom and my sister this past week.  A few people at my work know, but mostly just so I have someone to talk to about things.  I am going to see the doc on Monday because Friday I had some high blood pressure and I have been retaining water pretty badly.  I am feeling better though and I am just going to take it easy this weekend.  I read that our baby will have a heart beat by the end of the week.  That makes me excited.  I also read that once your baby has a heartbeat that the chance of miscarriage drops significantly.  That is great news, but I just have a feeling that all is going to be just fine with this pregnancy.  LOVING being pregnant.  My husband is being so great and taking such good care of me.

New at this!

Well, I am new to the whole blogging world so let's give this a try.  I am 4 weeks and 5 days pregnant with Mark and I's first baby.  He has two and I have two so we will have an ours now!!  I am very excited and a lot scared right now.  I hope I am ready for the challenge.  I am 34, to be 35 when I have this baby so I am hoping I know what I am getting into having another baby so late in life.  I love my husband more than anything and this is just one thing that will make our relationship that much better.
